Overnight I set my moth trap outside the basecamp where we were staying at Clumber Park. In the morning a cornucopia of delights awaited. Eagerly I emptied the trap, delighted by the beauties inside. 

This was my favourite moth of the day, the pattern on the wings so exquisite that it took my breath away, and apparently also my ability to use the ID book, as I had to resort to asking @mothIDUK on Twitter to help, despite the obvious markings, a quick and succinct answer received, such a helpful guy.
