We’ve had a run of clear, cold, bright days, a balm to the soul after days of mist, rain and gloom.
Head banging, tonight I left the office before dark. To shift the headache, where better to head than the riverside at dusk, still and quiet, supremely calming.
At this time of year, plants show their underlying structure, no showy flowers, stark stems against the dying light displayed a delicate beauty.
Bare trees reflected in the still river, birds settling amongst them to roost for the night.
A gentle walk, watching the sunset blaze in the sky and the day draw a close. The light faded to pastel shades.
Another mile added to my #walk1000milechallenge the steps leaving me calm and relaxed.
Beautiful photos. The light is amazing.
