That’s it, the challenge is complete. I’ve loved the challenge. We’ve visited amazing new places, had some fantastic wildlife experiences with water voles, ducks, dragonflies, butterflies, nightjars, slow worms, grass snakes and more. We’ve improved our garden for wildlife, and connected more with the natural world around us. I’ve learnt to take proper lunch breaks, and have benefited from the whole experience immensely.
Tonight, we celebrated our 3o days wild with homemade elderflower cordial and prosecco cocktails and a barbeque in the garden. We watched the sun go down on our challenge, and vowed to stay wild. We set up a white sheet with a light shining on it in the hope of spying moths, and saw one micro moth before summer rain meant that I finished my 30 days wild by dancing in a downpour. It’s been a blast, now I’m looking forward to the next #365dayswild.
